Abstract :
Summary form only given. The linear parametric motor is operated by a parametric oscillation. The linear parametric motor has a very simple construction and can be used by a single-phase power source. For the design of the linear parametric motor with open magnetic circuit, we simulated the static thrust by the three-dimensional FEM. Further, we made five motors of the different width of stator core. The dimensions of the original stator core are as follows: width W=17 mm, length L=115 mm and height H=56 mm. We discussed the relationship among the stator core width-to-length ratio (W/L) and the performance characteristics of the static thrust Fs and the thrust-to-mass ratio (Fs/M).
