Abstract :
A current fed converter with constant-current source input is proposed. The converter features a new cascade circuit that consists of an ON-ON regulator connected in series with a boost converter. The cascade connection converter uses only one control circuit to stabilize the output voltage and only one switching transistor. The new circuit for the cascade connection converter is characterized by simplified circuitry and simple control (linear control)
