Abstract :
A portable power engineering educational lab system consisting of a low-voltage three-phase variable-speed motor drive, transformer, and rotating machines, a dynamometer, and line and load models, has been constructed. The lab is used for demonstrations in power system and machinery classes in place of, or as a supplement to, student lab experiments. The lab has been well-received by students.
