Abstract :
This study presents operational principles of a model EDLT using the correlated insulator VO2 as a channel material and various ionic liquids. The stability of the VO2/IL interface is carefully examined so that electrochemical effects could be mitigated. A room temperature switch is explored using EDLT and the dynamic response of the channel conductance will be discussed.
