Abstract :
Summary form only given. We have investigated the magnetization reversal process of a single chain of identical nanomagnetic dots fabricated from 30 nm thick Ni/sub 80/Fe/sub 20/. The structures consist of two 5/spl mu/m wide support wires bridged with a single chain of identical dots of diameter /spl delta/ in the range 100-250 nm fabricated using high resolution electron beam lithography. The authors show the scanning electron micrograph of a chain of nanomagnetic dots with /spl delta/=100nm.
