Abstract :
The growth in the use of electronic components in road vehicles has made it necessary to install a new directive for government testing, type approval and the release procedure in the field of EMC road vehicles for Europe. This paper describes the new regulation 94/54 EEC from Nov. 1995 in detail, that means the history with the old EEC 72/245, development, requirements, definitions e.g. broadband/narrowband, vehicle and component test methods including limits for emission and immunity
