Abstract :
WHRZ ADCP was used to monitor the depths of Machong River dredging in this thesis. Software of AutoCAD, Excel, Google earth and South CASS6.1 were separately applied to calculate the dredging amount of the Machong river. The TIN is basis for the two calculate methods. The dredging capacity is about 498 thousand cubic meters calculated by conventional software when the result is 512 thousand cubic meters by South CASS6.1 software. The results showed that South CASS 6.1 software had the merits in sparing computing time and lifting the accuracy. Through the comparison and analysis with the time, it was shown that South CASS 6.1 was a method of smaller workload, higher efficiency and convenient application.
