Abstract :
A novel configuration of all-fiber photonic differentiator optimized for tens-of-gigahertz processing speeds is suggested. This device covers the gap in terms of processing speeds between fiber Bragg grating based differentiator (< 20 GHz) and that based on long-period fiber gratings (>100-200 GHz).
