  • Abstract
Lithium-metal-polymer (LMP) technology is an advanced battery system for stationary applications. Papers have been presented in past year at Intelec and Battcon describing the electrochemical system and defining the subsystems that optimize the operation of the battery as well as assuring safe operation of the battery. The present paper is based on these previous papers and also details the safety protections integrated in the design of the battery.
