Abstract :
In this paper, the novel Look-up-table (LUT) and LMS method are both applied to pre-distort the RF power amplifier. The Look-up-table based input can remove the bandwidth limitation of the feedback circuit related to the loop delay, and suppress feedback oscillation by accurate digital control of the feedback signal. Moreover, the pre-distorted signal can be extracted very efficiently. This method takes the linearity and the adaptive convergence rate into consideration. Through Matlab and Agilent´s software ADS simulation, the proposed method has better performance than other classic methods.
