Abstract :
Efficiency of degradation trace nitrobenzene using microwave/H2O2 processes is investigated and how Tertiary-butyl alcohol effect the efficiency. The results show that microwave had a good effect. Oxidative degradation of the active substance is hydroxyl radical. By GC-MS, those intermediate products of nitrobenzene oxidation are mainly phenolic compounds. On this basis, nitrobenzene degradation mechanism and pathway were proposed.
