Abstract :
We investigate the frequency spacing in multifrequency/multistatic/multiview measurement configuration for GPR prospecting. The Distorted Born Approximation is assumed so leading to a linear inversion problem. The analysis is first performed in a simplified lossless environment to obtain guidelines and next results are confirmed by numerical inversion. The number of relevant frequency data is estimated according to extent of the observation and investigation domains and the dielectric permittivity of the host medium. It is found that both a non uniform and an uniform spacing provide reconstructions of comparable quality.
