Abstract :
In this paper the fault tolerant control for the linear parameter varying systems is proposed with the motivation to reconfigure the control loop without retuning the nominal controller. The active fault tolerant control strategy is used in which the virtual actuator and virtual sensor blocks are added to the nominal control loop that will mask the faulty actuator/sensor. The linear parameter varying virtual actuator and virtual sensor are designed using linear matrix inequalities. A two-tank system simulator is used to assess the performance of the proposed method.
