Abstract :
Summary form only given. Multilayer [NdFeB/sub x//Nb/sub z/]/sub n/ films were prepared by ion beam sputtering and showed significantly enhanced coercivity due to the reduced grain size. Small grain size enhanced the local anisotropy of individual grains and coercivity increased significantly.
