Abstract
The paper deals with evaluation of co-generation units burning biogas. It presents a comparison of units delivering 1 MW, the so called small co-generation units. The types subject to comparison will include a combustion engine, an internal combustion turbine and a back-pressure turbine. Co-generation units (CGU) will be assessed mainly with respect to the supply of electric power. The assessment will include the price per unit of power, which is great significance. The data concerned will be evaluated using the multi-criteria method of weighted sum (MCA CDA).
