Abstract :
This paper proposes a method of voltage stability enhancement using generation rescheduling. Sensitivities of the voltage stability margin with respect to the MW output of the generators are used to choose the generators to increase and reduce the MW output. The amount of change in generation is also determined using the sensitivity information and the available MW margin in the direction of change in generation. Case studies are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
