Abstract :
Applying machinery into agricultural production can enhance the efficiency and quality of agricultural production. Therefore, every government takes agricultural Mechanization as an important measure for developing agriculture. Because of the different geological structure traits and location among different regions, the development levels of agricultural mechanization in different regions in China are variable. To measure the agricultural mechanization of 30 regions in China, a comprehensive evaluation method, denoted as DEA-TOPSIS, is applied in this paper. By using the statistic data of agricultural mechanization, we can calculate the comprehensive score for each region in China by applying DEA-TOPSIS methodology. The calculation results can provide corresponding information for each region about its agricultural mechanization development level.
