Abstract :
S&T innovation is defined as the creation and application of new knowledge and new technology. During the period of S&T innovation, the operators will accept new management model and production way to produce new products, improve quality and provide new service. Because of the different geography traits and resources, the contribution rate of S&T innovation in different regions is expresses various. Based on the inputs and outputs on regional S&T innovation, the contribution rate of S&T innovation in 30 regions in China was calculated by Data Envelopment Analysis models. By using the contribution rate of S&T innovation, we can cluster 30 regions into different classes, which can reflect the different influence of S&T innovation on regional development.
