Abstract :
Order of magnitude enhancement in second harmonic generation at 1564.2 nm using ridge Bragg reflection waveguide is reported. Nonlinear conversion efficiency of 44.98 /W with peak second harmonic power of 1.61 muW was measured for an internal pump power of 189 muW.
