Abstract :
We have developed 1550 nm DWDM lasers with ultra-high optical power (140 mW) operated at 400 mA. The laser also showed excellent RIN ( ges-161 dB) and narrow linewidth (115 kHz) suitable for 100 km transmission. Life test ( > 8800 hr) performance was robust.
