Abstract
Although data flow analysis has been successfully applied in testing programs written in procedural programming languages, its current form as not powerful enough to test object-oriented programs. The methodology of conventional data flow analysis should be extended to incorporate new techniques to test C++ programs. We propose how data flow analysis should be extended and demonstrate how it can be used to detect data flow anomalies
