Abstract
This paper deals a method of determining the optimal operation of the induction generator in off-grid for small-scale wind power. Evaluation of itself optimum operation is partly performed using model, which was created in program EMTP - ATP. Operating states of the generator is possible simulate there and determine operational capabilities of a specific type of generator for different type and size of loads and for different weather conditions. Results from this model were used to create the program in LabVIEW which is able to directly control the operation of the induction generator so that under the all weather conditions he worked always in his optimum.
