Abstract :
The problem of satisfying constraints imposed on a dynamical system that operates under a load schedule is considered from the perspective of using model predictive control to set free inputs across time. We formulate an approach incorporating information about the schedule and identify conditions for when it is guaranteed to work. The proposed method is motivated and simulated within the context of set-point generation for an automated irrigation channel.
