Abstract
This paper begins with an analysis on all disturbing sources in an IRCS (infrared remote control system), and introduces corresponding approaches, such as photoelectric coupling, reasonable grounding, signal modulation, digital filter, detection, etc. applied in the hardware and the software to suppress interference, widen the control distance and improve the control accuracy. By doing these, the paper provides a preparation for further research on applying this system in suitable situations
