Firstly the necessity of the design of signal coordination control system in urban main roads is presented , and the design thinking and process of the signal coordination control system is given, then according to the design thinking and process create a model of signal coordination control system in urban main road., and Qingyang Road of LAN Zhou City is taken for example, based on the survey data and the mathematical model of signal coordination control system , the survey data are analyzed and the scheme is acquired. Lastly the VISSIM simulation software is used to evaluate the function of the scheme, and the conclusion that this green wave system is feasible and superior can be drawn.
