Abstract :
A novel construction method of decentralized systems for bulk power system is proposed. Firstly, a bulk power system is exactly rewritten into a one-machine one-load decentralized system by the power flow calculation at each generator-bus, and the one-machine one-load system with a middle load is also rewritten into an equivalent system without the middle one. Next, a three-machine and a longitudinal five-machine system models are treated as its application, and the transient stability for each decentralized system of the longitudinal one is discussed by the equal-area criterion. Finally, it is concluded that the transmission line impedance of the equivalent decentralized system can be obtained for each generator without approximation, and the transient stability can be analyzed.
