The Research on Characteristic of Service Innovation in Logistics Enterprise

As the third profits source, logistics plays a more and more important role in economic development. Service innovation is a strong driving force for the development of logistics enterprise, and the research on characteristics of service innovation will provide a theoretical basis to implement innovation activities in logistics enterprise. This paper starting with the characteristics of general service innovation and combing the characteristics of logistics services, analyses the characteristics of service innovation in logistics enterprise systemically. Then it summarizes four characteristics of service innovation in logistics enterprise: complicated process, high cost, long cycle and systematic. This study enriches the basic theory research of the service innovation, which is useful to carry out the service innovation effectively and scientifically in logistics enterprise.
