Abstract :
Three methods for the solution of the GPR reconstruction problem are studied in the light of qualitative and quantitative needs of imaging. The first method is Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), which reconstructs scattered energy based on travel-time estimation. The second method is Diffraction Tomography (DT), which reconstructs permittivity and conductivity by relating the Fourier transform of the field to that of the scatterer. The last method is a combination of Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) and Algebraic Reconstruction Theory (ART). The former locates the objects, while the latter iteratively estimates the object parameters.
