Abstract :
External interference is discussed in the paper and the discussion focuses on the effect on a CDMA system. The cost of external interference can be assessed by translating its impact into an equivalent rise in cell site noise figure. This increase results in a decreased cell coverage. This effect indicates that a -108 dBm interference results in a 30% reduction in coverage area at any loading
