Abstract :
We propose an all-optical access-metro network, allowing the support of fixed and mobile services. This architecture provides transparent end-to-end communications with two transmissions mode: circuit mode and burst mode. Real time services are transported using circuit transmission and other services are transported using burst transmission. In order to optimize the network resources, we evaluate two strategies to dimension these circuits: static and dynamic dimensioning.
