Abstract :
Decision-feedback based equalization algorithms are rarely used in blind equalizations because they cannot converge for the "eye-closed" signals. In this paper, we develop a new decision-feedback based algorithm that is suitable for blind equalizations. Its stability and convergence properties are analyzed in the paper. Also, we propose a hybrid blind equalization scheme that combines the decision-feedback based algorithm and the CMA, which can take both advantages of them. Computer simulations with QAM signals have been carried out to test the performances of our new algorithms
