Abstract
Texture features extracted from the image at learning sample points are used for integrated description of the texture. The texture description has the form of an assembly of neuron-like elements, as the values of extracted features are associated with these elements. Each texture is represented by its assembly. The model of the neuron-like network described has been realized as a computer program. Operation of the model was tested on natural textures
