Abstract
This paper will present some basic aspects regarding the concept of multi-agent system (MAS). MAS is a new concept used in power systems and can provide solution in various applications like market participation or power system restoration. Furthermore some practical implementations will be presented and more specific the installation of multi agent based control system in real test sites.
