Abstract :
Some companies, like Siemens, Motorola, Unitrode and SGS-Thomson, produced ICs in order to control a switched-mode power supply type boost converter in a free-oscillating mode, drawing a sinusoidal current at the utility side. The paper presents a functional time-domain analysis of a power circuit and the influence of voltage supply fluctuations. Finally a short design-guide of such a switch-mode rectifier is done
