Abstract :
A technique to characterize the frequency modulation rate (FMR) parameters was developed. The technique is based on zero crossing counting and digital signal processing techniques. A number of implementation issues regarding the proposed FMR parameter measurement technique are addressed. Applications of the proposed technique are discussed
