  • Abstract
    In this paper a new control technique for a three-phase active power filter is presented. This control principle is based on the line current measurement only, while the load currents and the active power filter currents are not measured. This method leads to a very simple control circuit and gives good performances in steady state and during transients. A numerical simulation of a power active filter using this new control technique has been carried out and numerical results illustrate excellent operation of the proposed principle
