Abstract
The problem of the H-polarized wave scattering by a thin flat magneto-dielectric strip is considered. The accurate numerical solution is based on the singular integral equations discretized using a Nystrom-type numerical algorithm. The obtained results demonstrate convergence of the algorithm and good agreement with data known for the limiting values of the strip parameters. This opens a way to the accurate numerical simulation of various strip-like configurations met in today´s nano and microsize photonic devices and circuits.
