Abstract
A solution is presented to the problem of scattering of electromagnetic waves from a perfect electromagnetic conducting spheroid, when it is excited by a plane wave of arbitrary polarization and angle of incidence. It is realized by expressing the incident and scattered electromagnetic fields in terms of vector spheroidal wave functions and then imposing the appropriate boundary conditions on the surface of the spheroid. Results are presented in the form of scattering cross sections for spheroids of different sizes and PEMC admittances, for both transverse electric and transverse magnetic polarizations of the incident wave.
