Abstract :
The safety of navigation of ro-ro passenger ships has been perplexing the shipping circles, while the problem of vehicle safe stowing and securing is an important factor that affects the safe transportation of ro-ro passenger ships. Some specifications are put forward in home and abroad on the research of safe stowing and securing of vehicle on board ro-ro passenger ships. However, it is lacking in systematic demonstration and researches on them remains to be in isolation. A whole set of scientific, effective and convenient-to-use "Vehicle Securing Calculating System" and practical operation that instructs ro-ro passenger ships. The present thesis epagoges the three calculating methods of stowing and securing of vehicle on board ro-ro pessenger ships. By applying the JSP web programming technique, the "Vehicle Securing Calculating System" had been developed. What\´s more, this system is convenient, intuitive and easy to use. This system is applied to verify certain vehicles and its result is exactly the same with the result that is acquired through the recommended method by IMO. It also had reliazed the remote access and vehicle securing calculating.
