  • Abstract
    This project presents a boost converter with an input current ripple reduction using T-filter network. A boost converter with a tapped inductor can be easily realized by adding an extra tap in the main inductor of the conventional boost converter. A small capacitor is enough to reduce the current ripple instead of a conventional LC filter. The simulation show that the proposed converters can achieve input current ripple reduction with better efficiency than the existing system.
