Utilizing picture information in the traffic field: the intelligent integrated ITV systems (IIIS)

This paper reports in general on the introduction of digital picture technology in the traffic field and specifically on the intelligent integrated ITV systems (IIIS), one subsystem of UTMS21, which makes picture traffic information collected by cameras applicable for improving the conventional illegal parking prevention system.
