Abstract :
Developers need to contend with more than content and tools when they make multimedia products. They have to ensure that their product does not infringe on someone´s copyrights, trademarks, moral rights or rights of privacy and publicity. The paper describes the laws that apply to multimedia and suggests how to avoid legal obstacles on multimedia projects
