Abstract :
Forecast of moving object behavior discussed herein is one of the most important common technologies to be applied to the “six principal user services on safety ”, a part of AHS research in Japan and is being researched as an algorithm needed for vehicle guidance and control. Since it is aimed at forecasting vehicle behavior through observation and study into interaction between a number of vehicles, it is expected to serve also as study that naturally takes into consideration the importance and potential of roadside functions. This report starts with Chapter 1 from description of the importance of roadside information to the motor vehicle. In Chapter 2, behavior forecast on moving bodies is described and examined, particularly on the importance of separation of continuous behavior from discrete behavior triggered by an event. Chapter 3 proposed the application of the Kalman filter as a way to forecast continuous behavior and argues on its potential Chapter 4 proposes and examines into algorithm for forecast by a vehicle of behavior pattern correction of the vehicle ahead in case obstruction appearing on the path ahead with vehicles closest to obstruction slowing down one after another Chapter 5 states the importance of arguing the relationship between safety and efficiency, when altering ordinary deceleration speed defined in the algorithm as parameter. Chapter 6 shows simulation demonstration of the proposed algorithm Chapter 7 concludes with the importance of external force in wide-area behavior forecast
