Abstract
This paper presents a detector balancing procedure for a bridge based on the straddling method that is used to calibrate inductive voltage dividers (IVDs). A bridge of this type requires multiple, simultaneous balances, which, due to interactions between the various circuit networks involved, are difficult to achieve in practice. An algorithm will be demonstrated that achieves balances on the order of 1 part in 109.
