Abstract :
Evolution of software is an important issue to users and developers. Gene recombination is an evolutional technology in biological gene engineering. For the software evolutional issue, this paper proposes a Gene Recombination Model, encompassing the six sub-models, homologous recombination, site-specific recombination, double strand break recombination, chromosome rearrangement, template-selective recombination and transposition recombination. The usage, step and limitation of the model are presented at last.
