Abstract :
Reports the performance resulting from a change of operation of signal units to make them responsive to the speed of travelling vehicles and thus reducing the number of accidents occurring. The attempt was prompted by the fact that traffic accidents tend to occur on trunk roads in suburban areas which are attributable to high-speed travelling of vehicles during the night-time when the amount of traffic decreases
