Abstract :
Contraposing the present situation of ecological environment in Machong Town, Dongguan City, the comprehensive evaluation index system of urban ecological security was constructed through using the pressure-state-response(P-S-R) frame model, the comprehensive method which included Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Entropy method were adopted to weight the index and analyzed the development trend of ecological security in Machong Town from the time scale (2000—2008). The results showed that the ecological security of Machong Town emerged a rapid upward trend in this 9 years, However, there existed some problems which included lacking of coordination between the development of each individual index, and a big difference in growth rate between the internal target subsystem, the amplitude of comprehensive security subsystem index was too large in the short term and the state of ecological security issues was unstable.
