Abstract
The main aim of Tokamak Operation is to produce plasma and confine it the rafter. The charge discharge of the various coil assemblies plays a major role in the process. Manual control of charging of capacitor bank system has been major bottleneck and has been area of causing concerns because of the various safety and various control issues. The area of work identified has not been worked upon extensively by researchers globally in past. This research work describes modification of existing manual control into an automatic GUI based computer control system. A basic proto type system is being setup and tested with functions for remote access/operation have been important works. Data acquisition device has been modeled and simulated as necessary prior to physical implementation using LabVIEW as software and PXI as hardware interface. The proposed system has sufficient speed of response, performance characteristics along with necessary scalability.
