Abstract :
A new fast block matching algorithm for motion estimation is presented. It is based on genetic algorithms (GA) which are a relatively new and robust approach to the solution of difficult optimization problems. Compared with the other fast block matching algorithms, this algorithm can determine the optimal motion vectors
