Abstract :
The paper presents a review of recently used current regulation methods for VS-PWM inverters. A variety of methods, different in concept is described, as follows: on-off hysteresis free running and fixed frequency regulators (phase independent, look-up table based, space vector based); linear regulators (carrier based, working in stationary and rotating coordinates); and predictive regulators (minimum and constant switching frequency). Also, modern trends in current regulation-neural networks and fuzzy logic based regulators-are presented.
